where am I?\r\n\r\nIn the land\r\nof my future,\r\nI ask,\r\nand I only see\r\nI imagine that.\r\n\r\n In the land\r\n of my past,\r\n I ask,\r\n and I only remember\r\n I had that.\r\n\r\nIn such contradiction\r\nI had to ask,\r\nis my solution\r\njust an empty sack?\r\n\r\n I sat\r\n and waited\r\n for an answer,\r\n and all I got\r\n was a trap,\r\n another\r\n contradiction,\r\n so I had to laugh.\r\n\r\nWaiting for an illusion?\r\nWhat a blast!\r\n\r\n I yelled at Escher,\r\n and made him mad.\r\n \r\n He called Gödel\r\n to make me look bad.\r\n\r\nSo, I played with Bach\r\nuntil they had\r\ntheir wanted match.\r\n\r\n I dropped my bag,\r\n and again, I sat\r\n not expecting\r\n to get my sack back\r\n I emptied my mind\r\n of so many\r\n silly facts.\r\n\r\nIn this land\r\nof contradictions,\r\nI chose to find\r\nthe riddle\r\nthat made it\r\nall fine.\r\n\r\n So, came the eagle,\r\n my eye of awareness,\r\n which made it all\r\n turn upside down:\r\n\r\n In the land\r\n of today,\r\n it said,\r\n you can see\r\n the contradiction\r\n you are,\r\n both as one,\r\n and then\r\n there is no\r\n contradiction,\r\n but your own mind,\r\n because as an eagle\r\n there is no mind,\r\n just the experience\r\n of being one.\r\n\r\n\r\n<\/pre>\n
What appears to be double, might just be an illusion, a trick
