{"id":1859,"date":"2010-07-09T23:48:23","date_gmt":"2010-07-10T02:18:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/linaru.com\/?p=1859"},"modified":"2021-10-19T13:55:23","modified_gmt":"2021-10-19T17:55:23","slug":"temple-of-truth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/linaru.com\/en\/temple-of-truth\/","title":{"rendered":"Temple of Truth"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"grid kcm\">\n<div class=\"grid__item one-whole portable--auto lap--auto palm--auto\">\n<pre>\tLanguage is a tool, \r\nnot a temple of truth. \r\n\r\nThought is like language, \r\nso elusive that its bulwark\r\ncrumbles as you dilute \r\nwords in a creative broth.\r\n\r\n\t\t\tIn the depth \r\nof our imaginary skills \r\nlies an abyss of joy. \r\n\r\nIt is waiting \r\n\t\tfor your \r\n\t\t\texplosive soul \r\nto dream \r\n\t\tits strongest \r\nby expanding \r\n\t\t\tlanguage into \r\nendless coils \r\n\t\t\t\tof love.\r\n\r\nIf language \r\n\t\t\tis a tool, \r\nis thought \r\n\t\t\ta reason \r\nor a result?\r\n\r\nAs I desire, \r\n\t\t\tI limit myself \r\n\t\tto thought.\r\n\r\nAs I think, \r\n\t\t\tI limit myself \r\nto what is \r\n\t\t\tdefined as me.\r\n\r\nAs I speak, \r\n\t\t\tI limit myself \r\nto words. \r\n\r\nAs I touch, \r\n\t\t\tI limit myself \r\nto perception. \r\n\r\nAs I perceive, \r\n\t\t\tI limit myself \r\nto what is \r\n\t\t\toutside of me.\r\n\r\nAs I imagine,\r\n\t\t\tI limit myself \r\nto my ability \r\n\t\t\tto create.\r\n\r\n\t\t\tIn thought \r\nand perception, \r\n\t\t\tlies objectivity, \r\nso where does \r\n\t\t\tcreativity \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\tsleep?\r\n\r\nIn my bedroom, \r\n\t\t\tyou might say,\r\nso where \r\n\t\tdo you sleep?\r\n\r\nIn my bed,\r\n\t\t\tyou might say,\r\nso where \r\n\t\tis your sleep?\r\n\r\nIn my mind,\r\n\t\tyou might say,\r\nso where \r\n\t\tare you?\r\n\r\nIn my sleep,\r\n\t\t\tyou might say,\r\nso who \r\n\t\tis sleeping?\r\n\r\nMe, \r\n\tyou might say,\r\nso who\r\n\t\tare you?\r\n\r\nIf you \r\n\t\tcan't answer, \r\n\t\t\t\t\tbut with only\r\n\t\tanother \"me\"&#157;, \r\nask: \r\n\r\nWhy can't an eye confess what it sees \r\nunless it observes its naked state\r\n\t\t\t\t\tas it sleeps?  \r\n\r\nAre you awake \r\n\t\t\tor unknowingly dreaming? \r\n\r\n\t\t\tKeep it \r\n\t\t\tyour way.\r\n\r\n\t\t\tSit in \r\n\t\t\tobjectivity.\r\n\r\n\t\t\tBuild \r\n\t\t\tyour facts.\r\n\r\n\t\t\tStand over \r\n\t\t\tsubjectivity.\r\n\r\n\t\t  Transcend both.\r\n\r\n\t\t\tDream on. \r\n\tBetter yet,\r\n\t\t\tdream up... \r\n\r\nHas the bulwark \r\n\t\t\t\tgone home?\r\n\r\n\t\t\tWhere is home?\r\n\r\nIt is where the temple of truth dwells,\r\nwithin, reaching out... toward being\r\n                                    authentic.\r\n<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Language is a tool, not a temple of truth.
