The lost leaf is:\r\nflying your will \r\ninto a storm\r\nof regret; \r\n\t\t\t\t\tchasing a dream\r\n\t\t\t\t\tby sleeping with \r\n\t\t\t\t\timagination; \r\nfalling into bliss\r\nbefore reaching\r\nits reverie. \r\n\r\nYour will \r\n\t\t\t\t\tis flying, \r\nbut \r\nyour mood \r\n\t\t\t\t\tis dry. \r\n\r\nWhy are we \r\nall weeping \r\nas a silent\r\nnemesis \r\nblessed\r\nby your \r\n\t\t\t\t\t[inner] \r\nwar?\r\n\r\nYour will \r\n\t\t\t\t\tis chasing, \r\nbut \r\nthere is \r\nno rivalry.\r\n\r\nWhy are we\r\nall beating \r\n\t\t\t\t\tthe forest \r\n\t\t\t\t\tof amity\r\nas if in\r\ndreams \r\nwe were \r\nsolid?\r\n\r\nYour will\r\n\t\t\t\t\tis falling, \r\nbut your \r\nemotion\r\nis\r\nlifeless.\r\n\r\nWhy are we \r\n\t\t\t\t\tall sleepwalking\r\nin the land \r\nof the infinite?\r\n\r\nBliss is just\r\n\t\t\t\t\ta sight away.\r\n\r\nBliss is just\r\n\t\t\t\t\ta sense away.\r\n\r\nBliss is just\r\n\t\t\t\t\ta love away.\r\n\r\nBliss is just \r\n\t\t\t\t\t[a leaf | you] \r\naway.\r\n<\/pre>\n
Generally we strive for bliss or great happiness, but within our struggle comes a belief of not having. In such belief, our will becomes a slave of our thoughts. Each thought generates an emotion that cripples happiness. I use the word bliss to describe a peaceful happiness, one that does not relate directly to an emotion, but can be affected by it. In this state of bliss, which is peace there is only love. If you are a lost leaf, how can you find peace? If you are searching for something outside of yourself, how can you distinguish bliss when it could not be in front of you (but inside of you)? Maybe, bliss is only a breath away… Just maybe, emotions and thoughts are structures that cripple bliss.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
