

{"id":2248,"date":"2010-11-19T12:40:55","date_gmt":"2010-11-19T17:40:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/linaru.com\/?p=2248"},"modified":"2021-11-16T17:38:19","modified_gmt":"2021-11-16T22:38:19","slug":"flowers-of-hope","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/linaru.com\/en\/flowers-of-hope\/","title":{"rendered":"Flowers of Hope"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"grid kcm\">\n<div class=\"grid__item nine-twelfths portable--auto lap--auto palm--auto top-no-padding bottom-no-padding center  \"><audio preload=\"none\" controls=\"controls\"><source src=\"https:\/\/linaru.com\/audio\/2010\/flowersofhope.mp3\" type=\"audio\/mp3\"><\/source><source src=\"\" https:=\"\" linaru=\"\" com=\"\" audio=\"\" flowersofhope=\"\" ogg=\"\" type=\"audio\/ogg\"><\/source><\/audio><\/div>\n<div class=\"grid__item one-whole portable--auto lap--auto palm--auto\">\n<pre>What if there is perfection, \r\nbut there is also the non-perfect, \r\nboth as a perfect-non-perfection,\r\nbeing cooked as a single flower. \r\n\r\nImagine the flower, \r\nlayered with different \r\ntypes of experience. \r\n\r\nThe flower might\r\nbe visually perfect, \r\nso you taste it, \r\nand it reminds you \r\nof a delightful \r\nhome.\r\n\r\nA friend interrupts\r\nyour insightful \r\nexperience, \r\neats the petal\r\nand says: Yuck!\r\n\r\nA stranger stops by, \r\nand sees a hurt flower, \r\ntrapped within \r\nthe boundaries \r\nof its judgments. \r\n\r\nSaying nothing, \r\nyou know \r\nthere is something\r\nwithin his experience\r\nthat reminds you\r\nof the flower.\r\n\r\nYou ask him: \r\nWhy did you \r\nstop here?\r\n\r\nThe stranger replies: \r\nFocus on the flower, \r\nthen observer your hand; \r\nlet it become unfocused \r\nuntil the hand becomes \r\na blurred vision of the flower. \r\n\r\nIf you can't, \r\nyou are trying \r\ntoo hard. \r\n\r\nRelax and let \r\nyour conceptual \r\nconstraints \r\ntake a nap\r\nas you unveil\r\nthe true nature \r\nof your hand. \r\n\r\nIf all you see \r\nis defined by others,\r\nthen you are bound\r\nto be someone else.\r\n\r\nThe defined limit\r\nof your focused hand \r\nis only a layer \r\nof experience,\r\nsight.\r\n\r\nIf all you see \r\nis defined \r\nby your insight, \r\nthen you \r\nare doomed \r\nto be an outcast. \r\n\r\nBalance the act!\r\n\r\nHe then \r\nbecomes silent,\r\nand you realize \r\ninstantly that\r\nthe stranger \r\nis you.\r\n\r\nAn outsider\r\nacknowledging \r\nthat your judgments \r\nare an extension \r\nof your fears, \r\nso much pain. \r\n\r\nDon't cry! \r\n\r\nWe are born \r\nwith a blurry vision, \r\nbut as time flows \r\nwe are expected \r\nto define and perfect \r\nour perspectives, \r\nbut what if\r\nsuch definition\r\nis lacking? \r\n\r\nFocus on the hand, \r\nmake it a flower, \r\nand reach \r\nits blossom.\r\n\r\nIs there \r\nsuch thing \r\nas perfection? \r\n\r\nWho cares!\r\n\r\nBe yourself.\r\n\r\nIt is then \r\nthat a flower of hope\r\nis born. \r\n<\/pre>\n<div class=\"important\">Perfection is an interesting concept, but one that is always defined by a layer of experience, and therefore a layer of thought. In the absolute silence of judgments, there is a perfect-non-perfection that irradiates every single thing because it is not my desire (and what others desire) which creates something perfect, but my inner state of being. If I am a perfect-non-perfection being which is free from my own judgments, then I can start understanding liberty.
