It is freedom&rsquo;s intention \r\nto devour my body without contention. \r\nI revolt. I grow enriched in seaweed.\r\nI twirl. The weight of my rebellion \r\nexplodes as I can only carry what I need. \r\n\r\nI can now trace the limits of the sea.\r\nStill submerged, the superficial tension\r\nof my memories knows how to pull me\r\ntoward the surface. I longed for the sensation \r\nthat takes me to the verge of my imagination\r\nwhere I lift my mind from the veil of greed. \r\nIt is the beginning of the realization \r\nthat I should only carry what I need. \r\n\r\nMy voice now extends beyond the sea. \r\nI sing through the wind&rsquo;s voice. The oscillation\r\nbetween the water and the air creates me \r\na new body. I wish to be the foundation \r\nof a tree whose knowledge frees a generation \r\nfrom the blindness and ignorance of greed. \r\nTransmuted into seed, I grow an inner tension \r\none that says I can only carry what I need.  \r\n\r\nAs my outer shell breaks in an exhalation, \r\nI realize it is not about what I succeed \r\nto have, but who I am through the realization\r\nthat I should only carry what I need. \r\n<\/pre>\n<div class=\"important\">The weight of what we carry continually wears us down until the day we have to leave it all behind. Freedom wins at the end, but it is our choice to determine how we let it win. Does it win without realizing why it wins? Does it win while being wrapped in ignorance and greed? Or are we free prior it desires to devour us?
