Just Sitting

I sit and wait for tomorrow to come
and it comes; it is never late. 
It reminds me not to look at it 
but I do. So, I sit and wait 
knowing that without it 
I would only sit
and not wait 
as sitting 
is all I do,
today. 

To sit in silence and peace is an art. We have been taught to see the clock and to hurry but why should we? The fast pace of technology, but mostly our consumer-driven mentality holds us entrapped in a certain pace that tells us: Things should be done by yesterday! How can we simply sit? By letting time be as we do what we most love.
